Marlesbury Awning with Dual Edition Fabric and bespoke Arms for Reemie’s Cakes, Chelsea

For Reemie’s Cakes in Chelsea, we designed and manufactured a bold and highly bespoke Marlesbury awning that complements the shop’s playful identity. Using Edition fabric, we paired a vibrant red cover with a contrasting pink valance, complete with the Reemie’s wordmark.

The project presented a unique design challenge: the shop entrance sits off-centre within a recessed facade. To ensure the awning aligned perfectly above the door - not the recess - we designed and manufactured bespoke arms. One arm was side-fixed, the other face-fixed, allowing the awning to sit exactly where it was needed. The result is a striking installation that enhances the shopfront’s character and welcomes customers with a bright, confident presence.
